R.I.P. Michael Jackson

I’m still in complete shock. I know there will be 50-11 tributes. I’m going to write my personal experience at another time. I just wanted to show my respect for a dude who I grew up on. Still remember listening to Michael Jackson on the radio (before internet, before HDTV) and there being an inherent emphasis on the importance of respecting and supporting his music. He was a living legend in the early 80s!

My heart is heavy, my mind is cloudy, and my weekend is a little dampered, but I will choose to celebrate this man’s life. I think his Neverland dream of being young forever may have inadvertedely come true, becuase this mortal man made immortal music. You will live in the hearts of music lovers forever.  This is crazy. Wow.

R.I.P. Kid… I hope you find peace, and you’ll never truly know what impact you had on us.
