
What’s good everyone,
As you know, I’m big on personal health and working out. I wrote some previous articles on getting in better shape and focusing on your goals. I know it can be hard to work towards them, so I’m going to update you on my personal progress and hope that we can motivate each other to reach our goals.
Right now my current goal is to get my body right by July 1st, 2009. I’m in the “get over the hump” stage, so I’m grinding out heavy. Here are my current stats
Week 12 Weight - 195.8
Week 13 Weight - 191.2
Difference Weekly - 4.6 lbs lost
Difference to date: 7.8 lbs lost
Weight Training Expected – 3
Weight Training Actual - 1
Cardio/Abs Training Expected – 6
Cardio/Abs Training Actual – 0
Target Weight – 190
So I should be happy right? I’m 1.2 pounds away from my goal! W00t! Well I’m clearly not sure how this happened. Before you guys send the Mary Kate Olsen patrol after me, I’m not stressing. I actually had a very intense week. I got maybe 10 hours sleep total and was constantly on the move. I partied hard over the weekend, as I hit the Greekdom 09 events on Friday and Saturday. Shoutout to them as they are bringing the NY Greek Weekend back as we officially proclaim the death of Jones Beach Greekfest (Na na naaa naaa hey hey heyyyyy GOODBYE)
I hadn’t got it in on the stroll line in a MINUTE and you know ya boy was shirts off going hard as only I can. I forgot how much of a workout strolling could be though. I’m not a neo anymore, lol, so it defiitely tested my cardiovascular prowess. When I was at the height of my cardio I had crazy sports stamina. I have to keep it up in order to maintain that level of effort.
I feel like I may yo-yo back to 193 next week, but I’m going to eat right and try to avoid it, and see if I can touch my goal next week. Body wise I still don’t have that visual that I’m looking for, but I’m getting closer. Sometimes you have anomalies in weight loss. I say use it to your advantage and leverage it to reach your goals quicker!
Still on that perfect pushup even though I didn’t hit the gym my normal 3 times a week for this cycle. No cardio either. Let’s see what this week brings.
